Angels Gate Cultural Center presents Reflections on a Warming Planet, a multimedia event bringing together filmmakers, scientists, and artists to explore the environmental issues facing our natural world. This free event will take place at Angels Gate Cultural Center in Building H on Saturday, November 18th, from 3pm-5pm.
The event will begin with the screening of three short films: Three Seconds by Spencer Sharp and Prince Ea, an interview with Professor Alex Hall, and California on Fire by Jeff Frost. Following these films will be a short fiction reading by William Luvaas.
The afternoon will conclude with a panel discussion moderated by Lucinda Luvaas and featuring artists Jennifer Celio, Lawrence Gipe, Marina Moevs, and Oriana Poindexter.
