The Friends of the La Jolla Library present Ode to the Blue Forest, a collection of original cyanotypes by Oriana Poindexter made with fragments of kelp and seaweed collected from La Jolla’s own blue forest, just offshore. These camera-less photographs display the wisdom and beauty inherent in nature, and inspire contemplation of the evolving relationship humans maintain with the ocean.
The show will run from July 6 through August 13, 2022 in the La Jolla Riford Library.
